Civil War Days at Johnsonville State Park 11/5/16
This past Saturday we had a great time at Civil War Days held at Johnsonville State Park. Not only did we learn a lot about the Battle of Johnsonville (ably demonstrated by the 25th IL/52nd IN Federal Infantry) we learned what it was like for the medical staff, the supply master, war photographers, local villagers, and especially what life was like for the women who toiled through a variety of household chores we (thankfully) take for granted these days. Copious photos were taken, here are just a few of our favorites... and, while we didn’t shoot any photos in black and white, we had some fun and flipped a couple of switches and turned them b&w.
