Last Saturday found us at Fort Loudoun State Historic Park enjoying an 18th century Christmas. Re-enactment soldiers and historians went about their day as if they were living at the fort some 250 years ago. Demonstrations of garrison duties, artillery drills (Guns! Cannons! Boom!), domestic chores, blacksmithing, wassail tasting, and even a Christmas church service were appreciated by everyone who braved the chilly temperatures to attend!
